This week the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) is announcing the recipients of the 2017-18 OHA Awards, starting with this season’s Top Prospects awards.
And then there were four. This past August, 36 teams from the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL), Maritime Hockey League (MHL) and Ligue de Hockey Junior AAA du Quebec (LHJAAAQ) had circled the dates of May 2-6, 2018 on their calendars.
Hockey in April is an interesting time. At the younger ranks, seasons are over or winding down and kids may venture into other sports or spring/summer hockey.
