Are you a student interested in a career in the exciting and fast-paced world of sports journalism with a passion for the game of hockey? If this sounds like you, HockeyNow currently has internship opportunities for journalism, marketing, advertising and digital media students or recent graduates looking to fill course requirements or to add to their portfolios.  Four to 12 week-term positions are available in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario.

HockeyNow’s offices are located in Mississauga, ON and Lethbridge, AB with both in-house and remote programs available. 

Internship opportunities are available to students and recent graduates from programs including:

  • Print journalism
  • Broadcast journalism
  • Digital media
  • Marketing
  • Graphic Design
  • Advertising and Sales

Successful candidates will gain first-hand experience in the world of magazine production and digital content creation. Interns will have the opportunity to research and write articles for publication in our monthly print issue and online at Other opportunities include video and podcast production, a chance to gain valuable experience in the world of digital marketing and social media, help in the production of trade shows and promotional materials, as well as the chance to learn the ins and outs of maintaining a world-class website for a great publication. Sales interns will earn on-the-job training and learn strategies from highly successful reps with years of experience.
