Chris Dyson has defied death many times. He understands adversity and despite incredible odds stacked against him, he has always followed his passion and done what he felt was right. He is a man with vision and perseverance.

He is passionate about hockey -- specifically, goaltending. He believes enjoyment of the game for minor hockey-aged goalies is paramount, and that this can be achieved by developing better coaching skills, which will inspire confidence through improved play. Dyson’s goal is to positively affect 50,000 goaltenders and coaches in minor hockey which will encourage kids to stay in the game longer and enjoy it more

He is on a mission is to change the game of hockey from the grassroots up, by providing coaches with the tools and knowledge to properly help their goaltenders and keep the game fun for everyone. Young goaltenders and their parents face adversity and frustration every day due to a lack of proper training and education for minor hockey coaches.  Chris has been witness to many disheartening situations, involving well-meaning coaches trying to teach to impressionable young goaltenders, but unknowingly destroying confidence and enthusiasm as a result of their improper direction, and poor coaching skills.

Dyson is a published author and professional Goalie Coach/Consultant with nearly 30 years experience, coaching students from 18 countries, His biggest disappointment is seeing so many young goalies quit the game they love, because of misdirection, improper coaching and a lack of empathy.
